field conference that aims to continue the long tradition of very successful inter-INQUA congress tephra meetings, as held previously in the USA, New Zealand, France, Canada and Japan. Crossing
New Frontiers will be the first full INTAV-led tephra meeting since the Kirishima conference in Japan in 2010.
