The next Inqua Peribaltic meeting will be in the Netherlands 2-8 November, 2015.
The Meeting of the Working Group will start and end in Utrecht. In between we will visit one of our Islands in the northern part of the Netherlands, the Geopark de Hondsrug, the IJsselvalley, the International Soilmuseum in Wageningen, Saalian Push Moraines and The Dutch Geological Survey.
Talks and poster sessions will be in Assen, at the Provincehouse of Drenthe and will be focussed on four themes:
- North Sea and Baltic Coasts
- Periglacial Landscapes
- Glaciated landscapes and their hydrology
- Human Impact on Landscape in Past and Present
As part of the excursion and conference programme, additional talks will be scheduled on:
- Science and Policy implementation
- Geoheritage sites in practice
- Applied Quaternary Geology
We will offer you a good impression of themes of Earth Sciences and of course our Dutch landscapes and cultural habits. We hope to meet you coming year.
